Met Eireann forecast u-turn in conditions this weekend
It’s that time of the week again where our summer hopes of sunshine are hampered once again.
Met Eireann’s latest forecast shows the arrival of rain in place of what was supposed to be a lovely sunny weekend.Not everyone’s time off with be interrupted by grey skies, some counties will continue to have a bright and warm few days.Here’s the latest predictions from Met Eireann, which are definitely going to be subject to change:
Rain and drizzle in the south and east today, isolated showers and sunny spells elsewhere. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in a light to moderate south to southwest wind.Scattered showers early tonight then mainly dry with clear spells overnight. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees with light to moderate south to southwest winds at first, becoming calm later.Met Eireann says to expect sunshine and isolated showers, tomorrow, Thursday.
Scattered showers will mainly affect the north and west on Thursday night, with dry weather and clear spells across the rest of the country. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees with a light west to southwest wind.
