Greater presence on streets of capital after gardaí commence rollout of new €10 million overtime budget
Business owners in Dublin city have asked An Garda Síochána for more detail on how the it plans to spend it’s €10 million overtime budget after the force announced plans to increase garda visibility in the capital.
A meeting between senior gardaí and business owners at the Gaiety Theatre on Wednesday heard of the “frustration” experienced by businesses in the city centre following recent assaults and violent incidents, according to attendees who spoke to BusinessPost.ie.
