The research, which was compiled by Geowox, also found house prices are soaring across the country while borrowing costs continue to rise.
Cavan, Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal had the most affordable property prices with prices ranging from €151,000 to €185,000. The data, which was compiled from the official Property Price Register, found the only county which saw prices remain “stable” was Clare. It also showed that a median cost of a new home nationally was €410,000 while an existing property would set buyers back €290,000.
