The teen, who has been named locally as Sarah Mescall from Kilnamona, was a second-year student in Coláiste Muire in Ennis.
Gardai are probing whether a 14-year-old died after inhaling an aerosol as part of a dangerous social media challenge on TikTok.
It is understood that Coláiste Muire put in place its critical counselling and support services for students and teachers following Sarah's death. “Sadly missed by her parents, brother, sister, grandparents PJ and Mary Mescall, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.”
Her Devastated dad Paul said: ““To get this phone call at that time of night, was one of the calls no parent ever wants to have to receive and we unfortunately got that call: ‘Come and get your daughter.’
