It will be a big help
Last year saw a number of energy supports in the form of €200 credits being given to every household in the country.
Speaking at a media briefing in Government Buildings, the Taoiseach said that the Government’s windfall tax on energy companies will be used to fund the new supports. The 2023 Budget included three instalments of energy credits, each worth €200, taken off every household’s electricity bill.
