The Offaly man is looking to jet across to France after the Ryder Cup is finished to support Andy Farrell's side.
Shane Lowry is backing the Irish Rugby team to go all the way in the upcoming World Cup and expects to be there to cheer on Andy Farrell’s side.
Ireland’s World Cup journey kicks off this Saturday against Romania before facing off against Tonga, South Africa and Scotland. It’ll be a busy few weeks for Lowry as he tees it up at this week’s Irish Open before defending his BMW PGA Championship crown in Wentworth and then has the small matter of the Ryder Cup at the end of the month.But when it all ends, the Offaly man plans to be in France to cheer on the Boys in Green.
“I'm hoping after the Ryder Cup, I'm hoping to get over there. I'll be there if we're hopefully, touch wood, there for the last two games. I wouldn't miss it. “It's an exciting time for Irish sport. It's the first time we've ever gone into the tournament so big with such high expectations and high hopes, and I'm pretty confident that they can live up to that.
