Wilson's Hospital School, the Westmeath school that dismissed teacher Enoch Burke, has placed a new sign at its entrance.
The teacher has been involved in a long-running dispute with his former employer. It stems from his suspension from the school in August of last year.
This followed a refusal by Burke, an evangelical Christian, to refer to a student by their preferred pronouns. The Irish Independent reports that it approached Wilson's to ask why it made the decision to place the sign at its entrance following the imprisonment of Burke.Images via Sasko Lazarov/RollingNews.ie
