RTÉ board has written to its incoming director general saying the lack of communication has ‘eroded their trust and confidence in the executive'
RTÉ’s has commissioned another external review into its operations, with Grant Thornton set to probe its spending on the Toy Show the Musical after it emerged the production made losses of €2.2 million.
Catherine Martin, the Minister for Media, this morning said she had received an update from Siún Ní Raghallaigh, chair of the RTÉ board, amid further revelations over spending at the national broadcaster.
