'The stunning pay levels are far more than what are paid to many hard-working high profile staff members who the public see on their screens and hear on their radio every day.'

The massive remuneration figures were released to members of the Oireachtas media committee late on Tuesday, after 10pm.

It reveals that a ‘presenting and non-management’ at the top of the list’s salary came to €515,00 last year. This is widely understood to be Mr Tubridy. The figures show that the top, unnamed, executive has a salary package worth €275,000. The top 100 paid RTE employees all earn over €116,000.
