Tipperary pedestrian becomes fifth fatality in weekend of tragedy on Irish roads
A pedestrian has become the fifth person to die on Irish roads this weekend following a collision involving a car in Co Tipperary.The 41-year-old man was fatally injured in the crash. “The collision, which involved a car and a pedestrian occurred at Burgess West, Ballylooby, Co. Tipperary at approximately 11.25p.m. “The road remains closed for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local diversions are in place. Tributes have poured in for Ciaran Keating, 57 – the sibling of the former Boyzone star – following his d eath in a crash in Swinford, Co Mayo.
