With soaring temperatures - great news
We've enjoyed a few days of high temperatures and plenty of blue skies and it looks like this weather pattern will continue into the June Bank Holiday Weekend:
Thursday [June 1] will see any mist patches in the morning clear up quickly, resulting in a "dry day with lots of sunshine". "Dry with mostly clear skies on Thursday night with just a few patches of mist or fog. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in mostly light easterly or variable winds.""Maximum temperatures of 18 to 24 degrees, but again slightly less warm along Irish Sea coasts.
Looking ahead to the June Bank Holiday Weekend, Met Eireann is forecasting "little change" in the conditions.
