Jacqui Hurley's journey through grief shaped her as a person after the tragic death of her brother Seán.

"I don’t ever want to feel like I let that side of me go. We, as a family, have been really good at having that perspective to know that life is precious. The RTÉ presenter said: "My mom and dad moved from Ireland to Australia in 1987 with a four-year-old, a three-year-old and an 11-month-old. My mother had never been on a plane before that."My life has been greatly enhanced by growing up in Australia. I would be foolish to tell my kids anything else because you can’t be hypocritical.

She said: "It has been chaotic, but it has calmed down a bit. There was a crossover between rugby and GAA towards the end of May when both seasons were in full swing.
