The former GAA player and 2018 winner of Miss Ireland will tie the knot in front of their friends and family in a summer wedding in County Kilkenny in June 2024
Former Cork hurler Colm Spillane and Miss Ireland 2018 Aoife O'Sullivan have spilled the beans on their summer wedding.
"We will have had a two year engagement. We got engaged in Italy last summer and we had a family wedding this summer. Aoife said: "It is very stress free at the moment and once every three or four weeks I will sit down and get something done planning wise."The most important thing for me is seeing my family excited. I have a brother who lives in Australia and he will be coming. Colm has a brother in Dubai as well, so it will be nice to have us all together.
Colm and Aoife hope to share their day with some of Colm's former Cork teammates, but it all depends how the GAA season goes in 2024. "I met with the owner, Sorcha, so my mom and I went in and it was the third dress I tried on. I knew straight away it was for me. I wanted it to be an easy process because I know people who went around to six or seven shops and I couldn’t deal with that."
