Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow high temperature weather warning for the entire Republic of Ireland for the next two days.
On Thursday morning, there will be spells of sunshine and scattered showers which will spread northwards over the country.The afternoon will then bring plenty of warm sunshine and isolated heavy downpours.Overall, it will be a very warm day with highest temperatures generally ranging from 24 to 27 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.Again, it will be another very warm day with plenty of autumn sunshine.
Sunshine will then develop in many areas during the afternoon but mist or fog may linger in some coastal areas. Further isolated heavy or thundery showers are possible.Saturday night is predicted to be warm and humid with clear spells and scattered heavy showers or thunderstorms.Sunday should see a mix of cloud, sunshine and showers.Highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees in a moderate southwest breeze have been forecasted.
