Ireland could record its warmest day of the year so far, according to a Met Eireann temperature map. It comes as the country is engulfed in 'mini heatwave' conditions.
June 13 currently holds that record when 28.8C was reached in Oak Park, Co Carlow.

Coastal fog may develop locally. Top temperatures generally ranging between 23C and 27C, in light to moderate easterly or variable breezes.
“Warm and muggy Tuesday night with temperatures of 14C to 17C, all in just light southeast breezes. While most areas will stay dry and clear, isolated showers may develop.
