Oleg Doroshkevich tragically lost his life when he fell ill following a match on Sunday
Tributes have poured in for the physio of a Roscommon GAA club who passed away suddenly after falling ill in the dressing room following a match at the weekend.
Described as “a pure gentleman”, Oleg was thoroughly invested in his team and the wider community, all of whom were exceptionally fond of the Creggs GAA man.A post on Creggs GAA's Facebook page paid tribute to the physio who was a “core” member of the team who always had a “smile on his face”, praising him for the “positive attitude” he brought to every game he took part in.
“Oleg was a core part of our team and management over the past few years. A pure gentleman and never without a smile on his face. Always arriving to each game with a positive attitude, he had a great connection with all of our players who were so fond of him, he was invested in the team, sport and the community.
