Storms Franklin, Gert and Emily are not expected to head our way, but they could influence our weather indirectly
Ireland is set for another mild week of weather as the country reels from the havoc wreaked by Storm Betty over the weekend.
Three new storms are currently brewing in the Atlantic Ocean: Franklin, Gert and Emily. Whilst they will not reach our shores, they may have an 'indirect' effect on Irish weather this week. The east of the country will experience the warmest weather with temperatures for the whole country averaging 17C to 22C.
Dry and clear conditions will prevail in the night with the exception of a few showers, mainly confined to Atlantic areas. Heavy cloud cover and fog is expected whilst the south may have spells of rain. Lowest temperatures of 11C to 14C with light southwest winds.
