The Data Protection Commission has delayed Google’s plans to launch Bard, its generative artificial intelligence platform, in the European Union this week.
The tool’s, which has already been launched in 180 countries and will act as a competitor to ChatGPT, roll out is being held up after the DPC, which is the primary regulator that Google engages with in the EU, cited GDPR concerns.
