Colm McCarthy was working in a local school in Bangkok
An Irish man who died after he tragically fell from a balcony in Thailand has been named as 41-year-old Cork native Colm McCarthy.
He had been working as an English teacher at a local school in the Bang Khae district of the city. It has been reported that he moved to Bangkok to teach English, and to be closer to his son.He leaves behind his son Finnian, his wife Wineta, his parents, and a wide circle of family and friends. "Our deepest sympathy to parents Mick and Catherine, his sister Emer and his son Finnian. May he Rest in Peace".
