There’s an awful that goes into finishing fourth in the world.” Victory in the race went to Faith Kipyegon with a time of 3:54.87. Diribe Welteji from Ethiopia came in second with a run of 3:55.69 and Dutch competitor Siffan Hassan came third in 3:56.00.
