Annual iPhone launch is the biggest new tech product announcement of the year - here's what to expect
The new Apple iPhone will be officially unveiled on Tuesday at the biggest tech reveal of the year from Apple's HQ in Cupertino.
We're also expecting a batch of other devices to be revealed at the Wonderlust event and some should feature a major change to the way they get a refill. The new law does not just cover smartphones - it includes all tablets, e-readers, headphones and earphones too, such as Apple AirPods. It does not include wearables such as Apple Watch or rival smartwatches.
An action button, like that found on the Apple Watch Ultra, could also be introduced to help users launch apps and services with just one touch. While a redesigned mute button looks set for the Pro models only. The regular iPhone models will get a 48MP main camera sensor that matches the resolution of the main camera on last year’s iPhone 14 Pro. New telephoto and ultrawide lenses are expected as the key hardware additions in this year’s Pro iPhones.All of the new iPhones will get a U2 ultrawide-band semiconductor, a clever component to improve location capabilities so people and devices can be tracked more accurately in the Find My app.
