Ireland's Indian community has come together to raise money to repatriate the body of the late Deepa Dinamani.
The 38-year-old chartered accountant suffered a violent death at her home in Cork earlier this month. Originally from Kerala in the south of the country, Ms Dinamani had only moved here a few months ago with her five-year-old son and her partner. The fundraiser organisers wrote: “The Indian community in Cork has joined hands to support the late Ms Deepa’s family in the repatriation of her body, and her son.“Considering her son’s welfare, it is important that he is sent back to his family in India.“The mental well-being of her son and his current emotional state is of utmost concern.”
