BREAKING - The road remains closed this morning as a technical examination takes place
An investigation is underway following the death of a young woman who was struck by an official Garda patrol car in Donegal overnight.
The tragedy took place in the Ludden area of Buncrana, Co Donegal and the road remains closed this morning to allow for a technical examination.The body of the female pedestrian remains at the scene this morning and the incident has been reported to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission.A statement from An Garda Síochána reads: "Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ludden, Buncrana, Co.
"The scene remains closed for a technical examination. The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
