A man from Wicklow was left in shock after winning a six-figure EuroMillions prize with a ticket he left in his pocket over the weekend.

The man who has remained anonymous won the hefty prize in last Friday’s EuroMillions draw, taking home a life-changing sum.When speaking about the moment he realised he was the winner, he admitted that he didn’t check his ticket for days.He said:"I had the ticket in my pocket all weekend before it even crossed my mind to check it on the Monday after the draw.
"When I scanned the ticket on the app, I got the message to say ‘You’ve Won Big’ but I had no idea just how much I had actually won."
