Dean Ebbe has been taunting his Manchester 62 teammates in the squad's WhatsApp group ahead of Monday night's Euro 2024 qualifier against a Gibraltar side that could include two of his teammates.
Ireland might be at a low Ebbe right now - but one Gibraltar-based Irishman is confident that the Boys in Green can dodge a shock result tonight.
“Obviously the players that are playing tomorrow - Mohamed and Ethan - aren’t saying this, but the other lads, I don’t think they have much hope,” Ebbe continued.“I think Ireland should beat them 2-0.” Gibraltar have lost their three games in that time - 1-0 away to Malta and 5-0 in Greece last month, and 4-0 against Wales last Friday.
