The warm weather is set to stay right through the week, according to Carlow Weather’s Alan O’Reilly.
“The jet stream has finally gone north, and we have a low pressure out to the west of Spain which has brought some very heavy rain to parts of the middle of Spain the last 24 hours and it is steering up this much warmer air.”He said things are likely to stay warm at least until Saturday, with temperatures hitting as high as 27C each day.“There won’t be wall-to-wall sunshine every day,” said Mr O’Reilly.
“Then, very little rain for most of the country until there is another risk of summery showers in the east on Thursday so in Dublin, you might want to keep an eye out for that on Thursday.People arrive at Electric Picnic.
