Following Dermot Whelan's departure from the station, Louise Cantillon is looking after the mid-morning slot before Dave Moore returns with a brand new solo show
Louise Cantillon is taking care of the 9am-12pm slot on Today FM following Dermot Whelan's departure from the station.
However, she is moving to a daily slot for the time being following the end of the Dermot & Dave Show. Last week, Dermot bid an emotional farewell to listeners after 21 years on air with his best friend Dave Moore.Dave will be back on Today FM on August 28th with a brand new show.Confirming the news on Monday, Louise told her social media followers: "I'm absolutely buzzed to be covering this slot for the next week and a bit until Dave Moore is back with his brand new show on August 28th.
In a touching tribute to his best friend, he said: "Dave is the most reliable man I've ever met. Do you know what it's like to work with someone who has never been hungover in work, is there in time... whatever shape you turn up in he's there.
