Micro-mobility business will work with Payzone in rollout of services, which are to be extended to Limerick and Meath in autumn
Tier, a micro-mobility firm that provides electronic bikes and scooters in cities across Europe, is to introduce its services to Fingal, Co Dublin, in the first phase of a planned nationwide roll-out.
The firm is partnering with Payzone, a payment service provider, to make its e-bikes and scooters available through the Payzone app in the north Dublin area. Users of the Payzone app will be able to locate and rent Tier’s e-bikes and e-scooters, with a goal of reducing car usage. Tier first entered the Irish market in 2021 and secured a deal to provide e-bikes in Fingal in 2022.
