Next week looks like it will be a drier week overall and we could even see temperatures rising again
It will be a weekend of sunshine and showers but there are some very positive signs in next week's weather forecast.
And Met Eireann had a similar forecast with their outlook for later next week reading: "Current indications suggest something of a drier interlude for a couple of days with higher temperatures leading in to the weekend." Showers will merge to bring longer spells of rain for a time this evening and tonight. Lowest temperatures of 13C to 16C in moderate to fresh southerly winds.
Sunday, August 13 Sunny spells and showers again on Sunday. The showers will be frequent in the north and west. Highest temperatures 18C to 21C in mostly moderate southwesterly winds.
