Budget 2024 is just around the corner and many households are expecting a bonus

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to put a crunch on households, people all over the country are eagerly anticipating Budget 2024 to see what bonuses might be dished out.

Thankfully, there are reports that recipients of the Disability Allowance will be included in the announcement for Budget 2024. However, there are six criteria to be met to be eligible for the weekly €220 payment, which can be handed out from 16 years of age, even if you are in school. Here is everything you need to know about the allowance:

You must also be substantially restricted because of your disability from doing work that would be suitable for a person of your age, experience and qualifications.
