A deal to buy Sidero, an Athlone-based software engineering company, has been referred to the competition authority.
Sidero, which is led by chief executive by Carmel Owens, is being bought by GlobalLogic, a Hitachi group company headquartered in Silicon Valley, which operates design studios and engineering centres around the world.
