Seven arrested following crowd trouble during Monaghan v Armagh All-Ireland quarter-final
The Gardaí have confirmed that seven people were arrested as fans clashed during the Armagh v Monaghan All-Ireland quarter-final at Croke Park on Saturday.
Women and children can be seen in the video witnessing the carnage during the match, which Monaghan won on penalties 9-8 after Rory Beggan's heroics during the shootout. The statement reads: "Gardaí arrested seven individuals in relation to a number of offences which occurred inside, and in the environs of, Croke Park, Dublin 1, on Saturday 1st July 2023."Any individual who attended any event this weekend in Croke Park and would like to make a complaint should contact Gardaí at Mountjoy Garda Station at 01 6668600 or contact their local Garda Station.
