The much loved BBC and RTE comedy, which centres on Dublin matriarch Agnes Brown and her friends and family, is back for a new series for the first time in 10 years
A brand new series of the show, created by Brendan O'Carroll, will air on BBC One from September 8. The date is to be confirmed, but [it will be] this autumn."
The comedian was keen to remember Barry Humphries, aka Dame Edna Everage, and Paul O'Grady, aka Lily Savage, both of whom sadly passed away this year. "In this whole series, I wanted to say goodbye to Dame Edna and to Paul. So it was hard to find that spot but I did find it, within the series, I did find it.Brendan stars in the hit comedy alongside his wife Jenny, sister Eilish, son Danny and daughter Fiona.
