This is the next D-Day for the national broadcaster
New RTE chief Kevin Bakhurst has promised the Public Accounts Committee he will provide responses to 100 queries in relation to the secret payments scandal in five weeks.
However, he has now set Friday, September 15 for when he will provide a comprehensive reply to all of their queries.Mr Bakhust will also be replying to the Dail’s media committee by that stage too as they have a separate inquiry into the scandal. “Between the two committees, including the issues raised within the transcript, there would appear to be over 100 items to respond to.
