Adrian Lynch, channel controller for RTÉ One and RTÉ 2, has been appointed the deputy director general of the national broadcaster.
The Business Post understands Lynch is now in charge of the national broadcaster ahead of Kevin Bakhurst assuming the director general role in the coming weeks.Lynch’s appointment to the role, previously unfilled, has come following confirmation from the national broadcaster that it under declared payments to Ryan Tubridy, the former host of the Late Late Show.
