There was a wet start to the National Ploughing Championships today.
But the weather didn't put off the huge crowd that commuted to the village of Ratheniska in County Laois. The site was full of big puddles and drizzle fell from the sky throughout the day, but the heavy rain stayed clear. Videos from the stands show water covering the walkways and thoroughfares as crowds made their way around.
