The race is held in honour of two late stalwarts of Boyne AC, Harry Mallon and Willie Connor

Harry Mallon is missed by all who knew him following his passing in 2015, and he is remembered for his commitment to the club. Willie Connor sadly passed away in 2017, and was a founding member of Boyne AC as well as its honorary president for many years. The race now begins at 8pm on June 16th on the grounds of St Oliver’s National School on the Ballymakenny Road. From this starting point, it will go towards Townrath and turn at the halfway mark, making its way back to the school and the finish line.The entry fee is only €15, and the event is limited to 400 runners so make sure you book your place soon.
