Phillip was spotted in one shot where Paul could be seen winning an award, which the former This Morning host was also nominated for. Phillip previously admitted to having an affair with a young man while he was married to his wife Stephanie Lowe after departing from the morning show. “I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning,” he told the Mail Online.
"When I chose to come out I did so entirely for my own wellbeing. Nobody 'forced' me out. Neither I nor anyone else, to my knowledge, has ever issued an injunction, super or otherwise, about my relationship with this colleague, he was never moved on or sacked by or because of me.The TV presenter said that while his departure from This Morning was “unrelated”, he felt it was time to speak out and “be honest now”.
