He will take over the role in September
Patrick Kielty was announced as the new host of The Late Late Show.
Ryan Tubridy will host his final show on Friday night with Patrick taking on hosting duties in September.Specifically his BBC radio show which he hosts each Saturday.Thankfully he won’t be hoping on a plane immediately after the Late Late every Friday. Instead broadcast his radio show from the BBC’s studio in Northern Ireland.
“Every arrangement will be put in place to make sure the transition is a seamless as possible,” a source told “There’s only 100 miles between Dublin and Belfast at that time of night, traffic won’t be an issue so the journey would be relatively quick.”If worse comes to worse, Patrick will be able to use a studio within RTÉ to record his show.
