Ballywalter will hit cinemas the same night that Kielty will be busy hosting his second night of The Late Late Show
Patrick Kielty stepped out on the red carpet for the screening of his new film ‘Ballywalter’ ahead of his Late Late Show debut.
Kielty said: “The first Friday night [September 15] is my first show and then the second Friday night is when this comes out. Exciting times, so watch this space for guests.” It follows the story of Eileen, played by Seána Kerslake, who is a caustic, unrepentant University drop-out whose dreams of a successful life in London have fallen by the wayside. Back at home with her mum, she makes ends meet by working as an unlicensed driver in her ex-boyfriend’s minicab.
