He has started a new chapter in his life

The Kerry legend worked on the RTÉ show for decades but he stepped away last summer and has started a new chapter of his life.

Pat told RSVP Live: "I miss live games, I loved going to live games, they were good games and good craic. While working on The Sunday Game, Pat became a target for online trolls. What annoyed him was that the comments came from faceless profiles and his family could read them. "My family, my two daughters and my son, weren’t happy seeing this abuse online. Maybe I could handle it, but did I need that drama in my life, drama that affected my family. It wasn’t worth it."
