A remake of classic comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, but the pairing of Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson just can't hold a candle to the original.Hugh Grant, Rachel Weisz, Toni Collette and a young Nicolas Hoult star in this very decent rom-com.The movie that the hit TV show was based on, which also happened to be written by Joss Whedon. It actually isn't very good.
Considering the fact that The Big Lebowski is widely considered to be one of the best comedies ever made, how this managed to get so much so wrong is baffling. With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 20%, the $4.5 million budgeted movie made less than $65,000 at the box office. A critical and commercial disaster, it very quickly disappeared from public consciousness. But we didn't forget. We'll never forget this mess.
