The National Transport Authority is progressing plans to acquire roads, footpaths, and private front gardens to facilitate its landmark BusConnects project which has been beset by planning delays in recent months.
The authority this week lodged an application to issue compulsory purchase orders for lands stretching from Dublin Airport to Dorset Street in the north inner city to facilitate widened bus corridors as part of the €4 billion project.
