A lightning-quick time of 12.62 was only good enough for a fifth placed finish in her semi-final.
Sarah Lavin clocked a new National Record of 12.62 as she finished fifth in her semi-final of the 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championship.
Kendra Harrison took home the win in Lavin's heat with a time of 12.33, while Devyne Charlton's time of 12.49 was enough for a second placed finish that secures her place in the final. It's another milestone in what has been a stunning season for Lavin so far and tonight marks the fourth time this year that she has lowered her own personal best.
