US actor Morgan Freeman surprised customers and staff alike when he visited a pub in south Dublin earlier this week.
The Oscar-winner was in the capital as honorary MC of The Delta Blues Project - a collaboration between the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and US-based Irish jazz impresario David O'Rourke.Advertisement"[They said] 'We've a very unusual request here: you probably never heard of this drink, it's a premium American vodka'.
"He was chatting to my bar manager for about 20 minutes upstairs before everyone else came in, sharp as a tack," he added.
