There is some good news and some bad news
Met Eireann has warned of further thunderstorms and localised flooding across Ireland over the next few days.
Sunny spells will dominate Monday, but heavy rain is expected on Tuesday before clearing up once again on Wednesday. It is currently unclear what the weekend will look like weather wise.A spokesperson for Met Eireann said: "Sunny spells with isolated showers this morning becoming more widespread in the afternoon and evening, some turning heavy with thunderstorms and localised flooding possible."Showers will begin to die off overnight, except for south and west coasts.
"Showers will become more isolated with drier and clearer conditions developing [overnight]. Some mist and fog developing too. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in just light southwest breezes." He said on Twitter: "A mixed few days ahead with scattered showers and sunny spells. Some heavy showers possible but less risk of thunderstorms compared to the last few days.
