It has been a warmer few days, with some more nearly heatwave temperatures expected to arrive in Ireland, but the national forecaster is warning of more changeable weather on the way
Met Eireann are saying that the weather will be “significantly warmer than usual” with scalding conditions expected.However, the week will later become more changeable with light rain and showers at times.Met Eireann explained what conditions people should prepare for Monday, 9 October to Sunday, 15 October.
Tonight will be mostly dry with cloud thickening. Mist and fog developing in many areas. There will be some outbreaks of light rain, mainly in the north and west. Mild with lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in light to moderate west or variable breezes. Tuesday, 10 October Tuesday: Showers will develop in the northwest early Tuesday morning followed by a more persistent rain will move into the north and west, remaining through the evening. Mostly cloudy with some sunny intervals. Outbreaks of heavier rain will develop in the southwest by the evening, spreading eastwards. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
