Met Eireann has issued a positive weather update after parts of the country reached 26C on Wednesday.
This comes after Met Eireann confirmed that following a June of record high temperatures, this past July was the wettest on record ever in Ireland. Bad news for those of us in the west and southwest as showery rain will push into these areas as the day goes on and these showers may turn heavy at times.Friday The weekend will be more of the same largely, sunny spells with some scattered blustery showers.
