Heavy rainfall and strong winds are on the cards over the coming hours as Storm Babet wreaks havoc - here is all you need to know about the latest weather warnings
The second storm of the season, following Storm Agnes, will bring heavy rain and winds to counties across Ireland over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday.
Met Eireann warns of "heavy rain" and "strong and gusty east to southeast winds at times" and is urging the public to be cautious of impacts such as a flooding, poor visibility, dangerous road conditions and and possible wave overtopping at high tide. Finally, a separate Status Yellow rain alert will also impact Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Connacht during Storm Babet.
