While there will be some rain to start this week, Saturday will see some good sunny spells
Following a wet, windy and stormy September packed with weather warnings, Met Éireann has given hopeful indication that October is off to a good start.
Monday Much of the country will have a mostly dry day today with just a few passing showers and spells of hazy sunshine breaking through the cloud. Tuesday Tomorrow Tuesday will be a breezy day with a mix of sunshine and passing showers. The showers will become increasingly confined to the west and northwest towards evening as the moderate to fresh westerly winds back southwest and ease inland, but the winds will remain fresh and gusty near coasts. Top temperatures will range 13C to 17C, coolest in the northwest.
Mostly cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle retreating to the west and north on Wednesday night. Light to moderate south to southwest winds, fresher along Atlantic coasts. Lows of 10C to 13C. Friday Mild, damp and mostly cloudy to begin on Friday with patchy rain and drizzle. Brightening up through the day with sunny spells developing in most parts by evening. Breezy with moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds and highs of 17C to 19C.
